Throughout my life, I have found it quite difficult to be a master of everything, even though I wish I could. I pride myself on being a generalist, a jack of all trades if you will. Graphic Design, Photography, and Videography are just the tip of the iceberg for myself and A Street Downtown Productions. I long for bigger and better things in the future, hoping eventually my craft will take me places I never thought possible. |
A Street Downtown Productions was created in 2005 as an identity to my student film projects. The history of the name however goes back to my childhood. There is a "not so famous" sign on highway 880-S that I've been facinated with since I was a little boy. It's for an exit that takes you to Downtown Hayward, on one of the main roads called A St. The sign, however, I always found comical because, in my opinion, it was a very vague description of where you were heading. Hence the sign says A Street Downtown. I had other names for projects before that, but I'm happy with my decision to stick with a name that gives me joy and makes me chuckle thinking about my past. |
